Extensions, Renovations
Project details

This farmhouse project centered on reimagining a traditional property for contemporary living while preserving its character. We fully stripped back the existing structure, reconfigured the internal layout and introduced a striking modern extension that seamlessly blends old with new.

A feature oak staircase now forms the warm heart of the home, in keeping with the warm natural finishes throughout. Externally, the extension is finished in black Russwood cladding, giving the building a bold architectural presence, while Nordan windows and doors flood the interior with natural light and create strong visual connections to the surrounding landscape.

One of the standout elements of the project is the bespoke feature bookcase, which incorporates a hidden door leading to a private study - a subtle, clever detail that adds charm as well as functionality.

The result is a farmhouse transformed: brighter, more spacious and built for modern family life, yet still rooted in its rural heritage. This project showcases how thoughtful design, quality materials and skilled craftsmanship can completely redefine a home.
