This farmhouse was damp, cold and draughty and needed to be completely stripped back to the stone. We installed a new damp proof system, concrete floor with underfloor heating, reframed all the walls and partitions, upgraded the insulation and installed workshop made windows & doors. The works also included new drainage, heating system, plumbing and a full electrical rewire.

Our client, Rachel, has a background in design and worked her magic on a unique interior style. She took time to learn new skills and carried out many of the finishings herself. Rachel's hard work paid off when she became a finalist in the BBC's Scotland's Home of the Year 2024.
