At Easter Leabank, we undertook a transformative redevelopment of the property's existing gable end to elevate both performance and visual impact. The full gable was carefully removed and completely reframed, allowing us to rebuild the structure to modern standards of strength, efficiency and design.

High-performance insulation was installed throughout the new frame to significantly improve thermal performance. Nordan windows were integrated to maximise natural light while ensuring excellent airtightness and energy efficiency. Externally, the gable was finished in scotlarch cladding from Russwood, chosen for its durability, sustainability and warm contemporary aesthetic.

The result is a beautifully upgraded elevation that not only enhances the home’s appearance but also dramatically improves comfort. Thermal gain is now far better controlled in summer, reducing overheating, while winter heat retention has been improved, creating a more stable, efficient and enjoyable living environment year-round.
